What is a narrative sign?

A narrative sign is not an astrological sign. It is a symbolic reading of what your favourite films, series and stories seem to awaken in you: how you respond to heroes, worlds, conflicts, returns, departures and promises.

What the sign observes

A narrative sign looks for an inner atmosphere rather than a fixed category. It considers the films you mention spontaneously, the characters who stay with you, the villains who intrigue you, the bonds that move you and the worlds you would like to inhabit.

How it differs from astrology

Storioscope starts with neither a birth date nor the sky. It starts with imagination. The question is not “what do the stars say?”, but “what do the films and series you freely choose say about you?”.

Why it can be useful

The result is not meant to state a final truth. It can, however, offer words for a sensitivity, tension, strength or need. It is a playful starting point for reflecting on what resonates in your narrative tastes.
